Nancy Halsema, DDS
“I will listen to your concerns and then design a solution that fits your dental needs as quickly as possible. But I’ll never rush you or your dental work. I’ll take as long as necessary to answer your questions and explain things so you can understand them. My goal is to give each patient optimum-quality care that leads to a lifelong healthy, beautiful smile.”
Using her education to help others
“As a young student, my two favorite subjects where art and science. As I grew older, I developed a fascination with medicine, as well. When I took a good look at dentistry, I saw a perfect fit – a combination of both art and science. Now I spend my days helping people by enhancing their smiles. I love what I do for a living and can’t imagine doing anything else.”
(DDS) Indiana University School of Dentistry, 1980
(BA) Biology, Indiana University, 1976
Always the student
“Simply put, my education didn’t stop after dental school. Because as long as there are new advances in dentistry – like my intraoral camera that gives me a bird’s-eye view of your teeth, while letting you see what I see on a video display monitor – as long as there are new benefits I can share with my patients, I’ll never sop learning.”
(Continuing Education) Dr. Halsema attends over 20 hours of continuing education each year in order to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies in dentistry, including nonsurgical gum care, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.
Respected by peers, trusted by patients
“Interacting with my peers in professional dental clubs is one way I stay up-to-date with the very latest technologies and leading-edge treatments. But more importantly, it allows me to deliver better care to my patients.”
